Although there are not many different options for chemical engineers to partake in for studying abroad, the university offers four different programs that are open to chemical engineering students. Students have an opportunity to travel to:

Australia: Monash University

Poland: Global STEM Semester

South Africa: Stellenbosch University

United Kingdom: University of Manchester

Of the opportunities that the university gives students, the destination that is most interesting to me is Australia: Monash University

At Monash University in Australia, there are multiple campuses in which students may be integrated in. All of the campuses have architecture that is extremely unique and beautiful. This university is located in Melbourne, Australia, which is known to have a mild-climate year round. Outdoor activities are highly present at this university, this is very appealing to me as I enjoy trying new things outdoors. Students who choose to do this program have the choice of living on one of the multiple campuses or to live in a guardian home of a local Australian resident. If I were to study abroad here, I would prefer to live on one of the campuses with the hopes of meeting as many great friends as possible. The requirements for studying abroad in Australia at Monash University include having at least completed freshmen year and maintaining at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average.

Back to English:

Monash University also offers many opportunities for English majors to be successful and study there. Every campus that the university has offers those in the Humanities and Social Sciences a chance to take challenging yet rewarding classes. Overall, Monash University fulfills the needs of multiple disciplines.
