Throughout my time spent in English 101, I have gained knowledge that I would not have acquired elsewhere this semester. To start, I would have not have been familiarized and made comfortable with creating my own website. Through creating my own website and learning how the basics of Wix work, I will be able to successfully create a webpage in the future, need be.
Tips on how to navigate Wix:
Another thing that I have learned/am currently in the process of learning is how to draft an annotated bibliography. There is so much that goes into drafting a correctly formatted annotated bibliography and without the help from my professor, her power points, and Purdue OWL, I would not be able to learn all of the necessary tools.
Some things that I still struggle with that I feel English 101 would've helped with is becoming more comfortable with public speaking and voicing my opinion to the class. That has always been something that I struggle with and I did not take advantage of the opportunities given to me to practice this skill as much as I should have.
Short term, believe that the skills that I learned in this class will help me with drafting more effective and informative papers. I now know how to strictly follow a prompt and will take this skill with me as I continue my academic career. In the long run, I believe that the skills that I have learned in this class in regards to my writing will help me to more accurately and properly convey information in emails and possible lab write ups that I may have to do.

The struggles I have faced throughout English 101, regarding less than expected grades and difficult assignments, have helped me learn my weaknesses and I work to improve on them.
